Sarnia Municipal Elections

The citizens of Sarnia will elect their new City Council and District School Board Trustees on Monday, November 10, 2003 and the new Council and Board will serve for a three year term, commencing December 1, 2003.
Here is the list of positions up for election.
Municipal Government
Mayor

City Council
(to be elected: 4) (candidates: 10)
City/County Council
(to be elected: 4) (candidates: 10)
District School Board
Trustee,
Lambton-Kent District School Board
(to be elected: 3) (candidates: 4)
Trustee,
St. Clair Catholic District School Board
(to be elected: 2) (candidates: 5)
Trustee,
Conseil Scolaire De District Du Centre-Sud-Ouest
(to be elected: 1) (candidates: 1)
Trustee,
Conseil Scolaire De District Des Ecoles Catholique Du Sud-Ouest
(to be elected: 1) (candidates: 1)
With all of these positions open for election or re-election, we decided to take a survey to see who in Sarnia wants change and why, and who would like things to remain the way they are.
